The EuroVelo & Cycling Tourism Conference is the annual event bringing together all actors involved in the cycling and tourism sectors. It offers an excellent platform for debate and exchange about the latest developments and ideas in the world of cycling tourism, EuroVelo and cycle route networks. The 2025 edition is co-hosted by the European Cyclists' Federation, Hungarian Cycling Tourism Association, Centre for Development of Active and Ecotourism, Active Hungary and the City of Balatonfüred. Balatonfüred is a scenic town on the shores of Lake Balaton, one of Hungary's most popular tourism destinations. The city is crossed by EuroVelo 14 - Waters of Central Europe, the last route to join the EuroVelo family.

The theme of the EuroVelo & Cycling Tourism Conference 2025 is Cycling towards a sustainable future. We will look at cycling through the sustainability lens and focus on the many benefits it has on the economy and society. Environmental sustainability is another key issue: it ever possible to combine nature protection and climate change mitigation with an increase in cycling levels?
