EuroVelo & Cycling Tourism Conference 2026 - Utrecht
The EuroVelo & Cycling Tourism Conference is the annual event bringing together all actors involved in the cycling and tourism sectors. It offers an excellent platform for debate and exchange about the latest developments and ideas in the world of cycling tourism, EuroVelo and cycle route networks. The 2026 edition is co-hosted by the European Cyclists' Federation, Utrecht & Partners, the Province of Utrecht, the City of Utrecht and Royal Jaarbeurs.
Utrecht is widely recognised as a cycling city and region and has been topping the list of best cycling cities in the world according to the latest Copenhagenize index. Cycling is incorporated in mobility policies, and it is by far the best way of experiencing Utrecht and the region, both for residents and visitors. Considering the prime role that cycling has in the Netherlands, the key partnerships that make such a high level of development possible, and the fact that Utrecht is a city of innovation and research, the chosen theme is ‘At the beating heart of cycling’.
Three priority topics – Multi-purpose cycle route networks, Stronger together: collaborations in cycling tourism, and Innovation for more and better cycling (tourism), will shape the programme and the call for abstracts, which is open until 24 March.
Information regarding exhibition and sponsorships, the call for abstracts, and accommodation is already available on EuroVeloConference.com, the new permanent website of the event.
From this year onwards, the EuroVelo & Cycling Tourism Conference is also getting a permanent logo and edition logo, to make the brand recognisable.
